Man is a replica of god. God has blessed us with intelligence to live our life and contribute to his creation. But often in the life we overestimate our part in the world and we become mere spectators. “We tend to become selfish and ill motivated. We want to win at the cost of the others! Can we have a world of peace if all of us try to win at the cost of others?

So we have the motto for the years, “far you to win no one need to loose”.

This maxim says our principle should be win-win. We win on the basis of hard work and dedication we put on and not at the cost of someone else. The Need to learn the importance of cohabitation is very essential to build a world of peace, unity and harmony. Let our children become more responsible and dedicated. Let us build on Human mind which will brighten up the world.

Message From the Diretor's Desk

Parents send their ward to school with the hope they will attain knowledge. Many consider school as a knowledge bank of course. 14 years a student spends in the school he/she accumulates knowledge. But the truth is that all the knowledge a student gets is not from the classroom alone. Interaction with parents, siblings, peer group and people on the street, educated or uneducated adds to their knowledge. Knowledge is not to be shared. It not it will be stagnant and decay. It has to flow like a river or a brook. May every student attain the virtues of humility, equanimity and thus contribute to the growth of our nation which is founded on the values of diversity and oneness. OUR JOURNEY

Thelma Devid School was setup in 1983 by our Founder Chairman “Dr William David” and our Founder Principal “Mrs. Thelma David”. till then the institution is a progressive and innovative Co-educational English Medium School recognised by C.B.S.E. The school seems to have created a favorable impression among the people of the city. The management committee of Thelma David School Includes President, Secretary and four members including Principal.

The School runs on public school lines. At preset it is running from nursery to class 10+2. Affiliation to be intended to C.B.S.E.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

The School imparts education to its students keeping its following aims and objectives.

  • To impart education of high quality with emphasis on physicakl intellactual and spiritual growth of the child.
  • To enable each child to grow to his/her capacity as human being and can be a worthy citizen of the country.
  •  To enrich mind, train intellect and develop a sound character.
  • To instill and stress lasting and abiding values and sound habits of thinking.
  • To develop and awareness and appreciation of his/her heritage and culture.

Physical Activities

Our students are passionate about sports and athletics and have the freedom to choose the one they like and wish to take up. Indoor and Outdoor games include mass P.T. and mass drill, Martial arts (Karate), AZerobics, Yoga, Asans, Chess, Carrom and Skating, etc. Physical activities are central part of daily curriculam.

School Clinic

The School clinic is looked after by qualified nurse. Medical check-up by a qualified doctor is done periodically and a record maintained, Parents will be informed if doctor finds that a child needs special medical attention.

Performing Arts & Music

With professionals on board, we take pride in training our students in art forms like dance, drama, painting and more.
